Abschnitt 13 – 13 Certification of Persons

13.1 The Testing and Certification Body certifies persons on the basis of testing principles, which include the requirements for qualification and competence.

13.2 Oral and/or written tests are part of the certification process. They serve as proof of qualification and competence. An audit is granted to those who meet the conditions specified in the test requirements. Tests may consist of several parts.

13.3 A certificate will be issued when all conditions of the testing requirements are met and the test is passed. A negative decision shall be communicated to the Applicant.

13.4 To monitor compliance of qualifications and competence of a certified person with the provisions of the test requirements, the certificate is subject to the monitoring of the Testing and Certification Body. A re-certification is possible if the conditions for re-certification contained in the test requirements valid at that time are met.

13.5 The certified person is obliged to notify the Testing and Certification Body of any changes in name and/or address. In addition, the certified person shall inform the Testing and Certification Bocy of all matters that may affect their ability to continue meeting the certification requirements.

13.6 The Testing and Certification Body is authorized to communicate, upon request, whether a person possesses a valid certification.

13.7 The Testing and Certification Body shall take measures to stop any attempts at fraud during testing.

It is in particular entitled to:

  • check the identity of the candidate,

  • apply methods that prevent the unauthorized bringing of aids into the testing area,

  • prevent candidates from accessing unauthorized aids during testing,

  • supervise the test results to uncover signs of deception.
