The hydraulic fluid used has to comply with the provisions of the machine manufacturer or the system or component manufacturer. In this, the materials of the sealing elements used have to be taken into consideration.
When replacing the hydraulic fluid attention has to be paid to the fact that no contamination enters the tank or other parts of the hydraulic circuit. In order to achieve the desired cleanliness class, freshly delivered hydraulic fluid has to be filtered as well.
